Casio PRW-1300-1VER Watch Review

As a member of the Casio’s Pro Trek range of watches, the Gents Casion PRW-1300-1 VER is specially targeted at those people who are fond of outdoor activities with several of Casio’s advanced features to aid adventurous types.
For starters, this watch features Casio G-Shock technology. It consists of an infusion of rubber and steel case parts and a recessed, toughened mineral glass to protect the watch from breakage. Tiny springs are placed at specific positions around the watch model in case of shocks, making it very durable like other Casio G-Shock watches. It is perfect for outdoor activities with added movements such as a black resin strap and a 100 metre water resistant case.
In addition, the watch also comes with Casio Pro Treks advanced watch functions. These consist of a thermometer, displaying the surrounding temperature in a digital format on the dial (ranges between -10°C / +60°C). A sensor for measuring barometric pressure and a digital compass with a graphical direction pointer is also of vital help in finding your way back. Another Casio Pro Trek function is the 10,000 metre altimeter with a High Altitude and Low Altitude memory, which measures the air pressre and uses it to map out your current altitude.
To keep time faithfully, the Gents Casio Pro Trek PRW-1300-1VER also features the Casio Wave Ceptor technology. The watch will automatically detect a signal from various radio transmitters around the world that will correct the time of the watch automatically at 2.00 AM and then at five further intervals, should the signal be poor.
